Mansfield District Council have a great opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer (Food, Health and Safety and Licensing) to join the team based in Mansfield. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,434-£39,152 plus market supplement £3,284 (pro-rata).
We are looking for a motivated Environmental Health Officer to join our Food, Health & Safety and Licensing team at Mansfield District Council. You will play a key role in protecting public health by undertaking food safety, health & safety inspections, licensing visits, complaint and infectious disease investigations and sampling.
This role offers excellent benefits, including flexible working (flexi-time), generous annual leave and hybrid working arrangements.
- A BSc or MSc (Hons) in Environmental Health, accredited by the CIEH or equivalent.
- Hold EHRB Registration or be working towards registration by completion of the CIEH Environmental Health Professional Pathway.
- Have recent experience of carrying out food safety official controls in a local authority environment.
