Mansfield District Council is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Casual Stage Crew to join the Palace Theatre Technical team. We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for theatre and some experience in technical theatre to support a wide range of performances. The successful candidates will support our team in the smooth running of events on our busy main stage, as well as occasionally supporting activities at Mansfield Museum or offsite venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for incoming professional productions, amateur companies, and dance or performance school shows.
- Ensure visiting technical teams and performers follow health and safety procedures.
- Operate lighting, offer support in sound, AV, stage management or rigging as required.
Key Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in technical theatre.
- Excellent team and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and flexible approach, especially in a busy theatre environment.
