Overview

Mansfield is a town of towns at the centre of things in Nottinghamshire, a place with strong connections and a character all its own. The council, a stock holding authority with close to 6,300 homes, aims to maintain good quality and accessible social housing as part of its commitment to residents’ safety, warmth, health and wellbeing. Following a C2 judgement from the Regulator of Social Housing, the council aims toward C1 status and continues an improvement and transformation plan. This recruitment supports the Housing Assets and Compliance team as part of transforming the service for tenants and residents.

A basic DBS will be required for this post.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Housing Assets and Compliance Manager to maintain high standards of housing compliance and asset management.
  • Contribute to delivering the improvement and transformation plan agreed with the Regulator to achieve higher standards for tenants and residents.
  • Support the new compliance team to ensure that tenants and clients receive the best possible service.
