We are looking for a motivated Environmental Health Officer to join our Food, Health & Safety and Licensing team at Mansfield District Council. You will play a key role in protecting public health by undertaking food safety, health & safety inspections, licensing visits, complaint and infectious disease investigations and sampling. The initiation of remedial action including the issue of informal and statutory notices and attendance at Court when required. You’ll be part of a small, friendly, busy team that works collaboratively and in partnership with businesses and stakeholders to resolve issues and promote high standards.

What do we need from you?
- A BSc or MSc (Hons) in Environmental Health, accredited by the CIEH or equivalent.
- Hold EHRB Registration or be working towards registration by completion of the CIEH Environmental Health Professional Pathway.
- Have recent experience of carrying out food safety official controls in a local authority environment.
