Overview

MANSFIELD MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY

14.8 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed)

Β£11,439 - Β£13,479 per annum (Pay award pending)

Fixed term Until 31 March 2027 with possible extension until 31 March 2028, depending on ACE NPO funding.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone wishing to work in the Museum environment, leading on collections work and preservation, curating a programme of work and supporting volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on collections work and preservation.
  • Curate a programme of work for the museum.
  • Support volunteers.
  • Work alongside a part-time fellow officer; opportunities to lead on certain aspects as agreed with the Museum Curator and fellow officer.

Requirements

  • Experience in a museum, art gallery or arts environment is desirable and may suit someone seeking additional or part-time hours.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
