The predicted salary is between 29786 - 29786 £ per year.
We are looking for a suitably qualified tradesperson who must be competent in undertaking a variety of bricklaying, concreting, drainage and roofing duties including repairs to tenanted and empty properties (this is not an exhaustive list – as multi trade work is required across the service). You will have experience of working in occupied properties and understand the importance of providing good customer care, along with necessary skillset of varying methods of bricklaying, roofing and any associated tasks around that role. The ability to work using your own initiative with minimum supervision and able to multi-skill is essential.
The role offers working times of 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 13:00 on Fridays. Mansfield District Council is a great place to work, offering an excellent range of benefits including a very generous annual leave entitlement and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
The post requires the following:
- City and Guilds Advanced Craft or NVQ 3 in Bricklaying, or equivalent.
- Consideration may be given to a time served construction tradesperson with a NVQ 2 qualification plus significant experience.
