The Role
We are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Weekend Assistant to join our small team of passionate dog lovers. This is a customer-facing role that requires someone who is welcoming, proactive and happy to chat with customers while maintaining high standards across the centre.
Main Duties Include:
- Serving customers within our retail store
- Handling cash and card payments
- Learning about our product range to confidently advise customers
- Welcoming dogs and owners to sessions including Woof & Tumble Soft Play and our enrichment room
- Delivering safety briefings and key session information clearly and confidently
- Preparing rooms ready for sessions
- Maintaining strict cleaning and hygiene regimes
- Handling stock deliveries and preparing new stock for the shop floor
- Working as part of a team whilst also showing initiative and working independently when required
About You
Retail experience is preferred but not essential. Personality and attitude are most important. You must be:
- Friendly, warm and welcoming
- Confident speaking to customers
- Reliable and punctual
- A genuine dog lover
- Knowledgeable or willing to learn about dog behaviour and health
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
As we are a small team, everyone works closely together and supports one another. You will get to know your colleagues well and be involved across different areas of the business.

Additional Information
This is a permanent weekend position. Start date: As soon as possible. Successful candidates will be invited to interview and may be required to take part in a short work trial.
