Mansfield Black recruitment are supporting a Fulham based Charity in hiring an Office Manager initially a contract role for a 6 month basis. There is a permanent role here and intend to start recruiting in March of 2026
They are looking for a traditional office manager person. Someone who can run the office in terms of reception, all round admin, stationary, plus all regluatory aspects like Fire Warden, DSE, and GDPR.
The successful person must be immediately available to interview on Monday and start ideally Wednesday 29th Oct
They provide Healthcare and social housing to local residents, its a small / medium sized business and a real all round hands on role!
Essential candidate requirements
- Salary of Β£40 β 43k
- 9am β 5pm | 5 days per week in Fulham office (free parking available if needed)
- Any industry background β but needs experience in an all round office manager in a small / medium sized office
Skills needed
- Worked in a small / medium sized business. Aware that processes can always be better and need someone who can muck in and sort things themselves!
- DSE Assessor Training Certificate & owned it before β within last 18 months (online courses available same day online so would need to sort if you are successful)
- Committed to continual professional development (able to show examples of learning and improving)
- Can work in Fulham 5 days per week. Happy to travel to West London/ local sites as needed in relation to ensuring smooth running of operations (only monthly, travel or train can be paid for)
Duties / Role experience
- Hands on all round office manager role who will ensure smooth running of all aspects of office. From ordering stationary, to assisting HR with new arrivals and orientation. Experience in managing the day to day running and operations of an office
- Strong health and safety and, risk and compliance experience (GDPR etc etc)
- Problem solver who can take ownership
- Own your own budget, communicate effectively with rest of team and senior leaders
- Supervising a receptionist and ensuring its covered daily
- Been through periods of change, able to support the business with new processes or sites etc
