This role is a 4â6 month contract with a Londonâbased housing charity, reviewing and optimising MI reporting, KPI's and management accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting to all housing regulation requirements. The candidate will partner with IT, other department heads and an implementation consultant to run and review reports, train teams and improve housing data system accuracy.
Base Pay Range
Day rate ÂŁ375âÂŁ450 per day, subject to skills and experience. Start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Review and optimise management information reporting.
- Analyse variances across the charity and pitch actionable solutions.
- Ensure accurate reporting to housing regulation requirements.
- Partner with IT and implementation consultants to run and review current reports, improve accuracy and train teams.
- Identify gaps in use of the housing database (Pyramid Omni Ledger) and create templates to enable meaningful data extraction.
- Impose internal controls and processes in compliance with housing regulations.
- Train finance teams on effective financial controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Senior finance or interim finance professional with substantial experience in social housing.
- Strong understanding and integration of housing databases.
- Experience reviewing and improving KPI's and management accounts.
- Able to explain the rationale behind financial decisions and reporting.
- Track record of training finance staff and enforcing accurate financial controls.
