Base pay range Company: SME Housing Charity / Residential and Mixed Use property Location: Fulham / Chelsea. Hybrid/ Remote (attend office for meetings and presence). Someone based near London would be great, as having a presence in the office is ideal. But open to someone further out coming in less if they have the relevant proven experience.

The CEO and board of a Housing Charity is currently searching for a proven Interim who can engage in a contract as a Senior Interim Modeler / Financial Consultant who can build a financial model and construct a report providing options for the long term financial sustainability of the Charity and strategy for investment. The first initial meeting to review is May 2025, so someone who is available on short notice is essential. This role will be outside IR35 as a consultant. Initial day rate of around £800 - £1,200 is on offer. Sweet spot would ideally be £1,000 but industry experience is critical due to the important nature of the role. With timing, there may be some slight downtime in the project awaiting board review. Not confirm, but therefore would suit an interim/consultant.

Key Experiences or Skills of Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience in social housing/charity real estate PLUS similar commercial experience in commerce and industry ideally real estate (commercial and residential)
  • Strong financial modelling, management and investment planning skills
  • Experience and gravitas to present to the board
  • Excellent understanding of mixed-use properties
  • Commercial awareness but also social awareness around the charity and its goal
  • Ability to monitor and assess investment performance.

Some Attributes / Goals of the Role

  • Strategic planning for a large amount of cash/investment and external knowledge of socio-economic factors long term (working with other opportunities with other charities or organisations)
  • Model should improve the budgeting process and assist with financial indicators including capital allocation, KPI's, financial risk and liquidity
  • Defining rent behaviour and payment sustainability of business
  • Linking sustainable service charges to repairs and maintenance
  • Advising on investment timings and amounts
