The Role
:
As a Multiskilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment across the site. Key duties include:
Conducting installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery.
Diagnosing and resolving issues by observing equipment in operation.
Replacing defective parts and ensuring machinery operates at peak efficiency.
Assisting the Engineering Manager with day-to-day maintenance tasks and team coordination.
Managing inventories by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
Training production staff on basic preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Preparing maintenance reports by analysing data and identifying trends.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
The Candidate:
My client is looking for a proactive and experienced engineer with the following qualifications:
Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production setting.
Competence in working with PLC systems or electrical production machinery.
Engineering qualifications (preferred).
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
The Salary:
A competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
