The CompanyA UK leading electronic manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join the growing team.
The Role
This position will be responsible for ensuring all products are consistently manufactured to the required build standard. The position may include aspects of Final Audit, Roving Audit & Specific Area Audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standard.
- Inspection of box-build product and mechanical assemblies using customer drawings.
- Issuing and signing certificate of conformity for finished goods.
- Goods Inwards inspection of PCBs, metal work and plastic parts.
- Inspection and evaluation of returned product to identify required repair/rework.
- Completion of RMA reports for submission to customers.
- Identifying and reporting significant or repetitive defects.
- Audit product in accordance with defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards.
- Ensure all deviations from either defined build instruction or IPC-A-610 standards are clearly identified and logged in line with defined procedures.
- Ensure defined processes are robust, clear & concise and can consistently achieve the required standards.
The Candidate
- Experienced as a Quality Inspector within electronics.
- Confident inspecting assembled PCB’s.
- Able to read and follow drawings.
- IPC-A-610 certified would be advantageous.
- Understanding and use QMS systems.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £25,000- £32,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
