We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer / Pre-Construction Designer to support the early stages of industrial and commercial building projects. This role focuses on developing technical designs, layouts, and documentation required for project feasibility, estimating, tendering, and delivery. Working closely with Sales, Pre-Construction, and Operations teams, you will produce practical, cost-effective, and compliant designs that align with client requirements and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce pre-construction drawings, layouts, and models to support project proposals.
- Develop detailed technical drawings for production, warehouse, cleanroom, and industrial environments.
- Prepare technical schematics for building services in collaboration with specialist designers.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
- Support estimating and tendering activities with accurate design information.
- Apply value engineering principles to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Attend site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to clarify technical details and design solutions.
- Assist with design presentations and supporting documentation.
