Our client is a growing and ambitious manufacturer supplying engineered equipment to customers in the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to lead their procurement and supplier strategy. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for developing a reliable, scalable supply chain to support ongoing expansion.

The Role

  • You will lead the end-to-end supply chain and procurement function, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and components while improving cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the supply chain and procurement strategy
  • Managing and developing global supplier relationships
  • Negotiating supplier agreements and contracts
  • Leading demand planning and procurement forecasting
  • Monitoring inventory levels and stock strategy
  • Driving cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives
  • Managing day-to-day purchasing operations and KPIs
  • Maintaining accurate ERP supply chain data and reporting

About You

  • Proven experience in a Head of Supply Chain, Procurement Manager or similar senior role
  • Strong experience sourcing materials within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience managing global suppliers
  • Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • It is highly beneficial to have CIPS qualifications
