An opportunity has become available for an Electrical Technician to join a growing engineering team. This role will involve assembling and wiring electrical systems to a high standard, working from technical instructions and schematic drawings within a structured production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical systems and sub-assemblies in line with technical documentation.
  • Build electrical looms and circuitry for equipment.
  • Follow written instructions and work under guidance from supervisory staff where required.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed accurately.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, taking responsibility for personal safety and that of others.
  • Inspect completed work, identify issues, and escalate any non-conformances for corrective action.

The Candidate

  • Background in electrical engineering or electrical assembly.
  • GCSE-level education (or equivalent), with a minimum of four passes including Maths and English preferred.
  • Holds a recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, or similar).
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Confident using standard electrical tools and techniques.
  • Quality-focused, with the ability to self-check work and raise issues when required.

Salary £25,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Overtime and performance-related incentives available.
