A well-established engineering company is seeking a Night Shift CNC Operator to join their expanding machine shop team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce components to specification.
- Carrying out routine machine checks and reporting any issues.
- Completing relevant production documentation accurately.
- Inspecting and quality-checking own work against engineering drawings.
- Reporting and recording any non-conformances.
- Supporting colleagues and assisting with general duties as required.
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Participating in training to maintain and develop skills.
- Minimising waste and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Providing support and guidance to new team members or apprentices.
- Working closely with supervisors and managers to meet production deadlines.
The Candidate
- Previous experience in CNC machine operation.
- Comfortable working night shifts.
