Location: Manor Royal, Crawley
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-3:30pm (39.5 hours)
Our client is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to join their busy production team. This is a varied, hands-on role involving goods in, stock control, picking, despatch and warehouse operations within a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking mechanical and electrical components accurately from picking lists
- Booking stock in using a computerised stock/MRP system
- Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift and warehouse equipment
- Stock replenishment and stock counting
- Supporting packing, despatch and occasional light assembly work
- Driving company vehicles for local collections and deliveries when required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Experience using computerised stock control or MRP systems
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Confident working accurately and efficiently
- Forklift licence (current or expired) desirable
- Full UK manual driving licence preferred
- 26,500- 28,500 basic salary
- Regular overtime paid at 1.5x
- 5% pension from day one
