Overview
My client are seeking a highly skilled CNC Milling Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their team. This role involves working with advanced Mazak CNC machinery to produce high-quality, low-volume components, often requiring precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving expertise. This is a TEMPORARY 6 week contract at minimum!
Key Responsibilities
- Independently program, set, and operate Mazak CNC milling machines, including 3-axis (VTC-530C) and 5-axis (CV5-500) models.
- Use HyperMILL CAD/CAM software to create, optimise, and prove out CNC programs.
- Manufacture components to exact specifications, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
- Perform in-process and final quality control checks to ensure all parts meet required standards.
- Work on low-volume, high-precision components, adapting to varied and sometimes complex machining requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven expertise in CNC milling, including both 3-axis and 5-axis machining.
- High level of competence using HyperMILL CAD/CAM software for programming.
- Extensive hands-on experience setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Salary: Up to £25 Per Hour
40 hours a week
Monday to Thursday 7-4 or 8-5
Friday 7-1 or 7-2
