The Role
As a Factory Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the operation of their manufacturing processes. Your expertise in production management, meticulous scheduling, and commitment to delivering products of the highest standard will be instrumental in ensuring that their products reach their clients on time and without error.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a busy workshop environment using a range of hand tools such brake press, welding, guillotine, drills, bandsaws.
Maintaining the highest quality whilst working to productivity targets.
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
Providing support to the wider team as required.
In case the factory manager is out of the business, you would be expected to schedule orders and distribute jobs within the factory.
The Candidate
People management experience.
Ability to schedule work orders and plan production.
Experience with fine limit sheet metal.
Ability to use one of the following – brake press, welding, guillotine, drills, bandsaws.
Skills in folding, cutting and punching sheet metal.
Any welding skills is highly beneficial.
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
