This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in machinery maintenance who enjoys travelling, working independently, and delivering reliable, high-quality service.

πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities

Service and maintain Design & Technology workshop machinery in educational institutions

Conduct LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) testing on dust extraction systems when required

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and diagnose machine faults

Work across Scotland, with regular travel and overnight stays (typically Monday to Thursday)

Use an online portal to manage weekly route planning and accommodation bookings

Maintain accurate records and complete service documentation to a high standard

Provide clear, professional communication with clients and colleagues

Work independently, while contributing as part of a wider engineering team

Proven experience in machine maintenance or repair

Electrical experience preferred

Ability to work without supervision

Strong communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to undergo a DBS check
