Job Description Senior Hardware Design Engineer Permanent Staff | Ely. The Company A leading design and manufacturing company producing rugged, high performance embedded boards and system solutions. The Role This is a position that will require an experienced engineer who will be based at the companies development lab located near Ely, Cambridgeshire. Working to develop and expand our range of embedded computer and digital video products, as part of a dynamic team of Electronics and Software Engineers, The work will include the following: Hardware design of new products – from feasibility to production Schematic design using Cadence/Orcad/Altium PCB layout reviews Preparing design documentation Supporting the product development life cycle – specification, prototyping, functional testing, validation. Working with sales team to define solutions in response to customer requirements The Candidate To apply for this role, you must have 1. 5+ Years experience with high speed digital design. 2. Programming in C/C++ 3. Familiarity with video interfaces: HDMI/DVI, HD-SDI, DP, VGA, Composite 4. Experience with following interfaces: PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 5. Mutilayer highspeed PCB design with Cadence/Orcad/Altium Reward The company will offer the successful candidate a competitive salary
