The Company
A leading engineering company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join the quality team.
The Role
Conducting visual and dimensional inspections.
Performing sample inspections and generating reports.
Handling non-conformance issues and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Liaising with suppliers, technical teams, warehouse staff, and production teams.
Managing quarantine products and areas.
Preparing and issuing Quality Alerts.
Promoting and increasing quality awareness across the company.
Performing internal audits related to quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Supporting the implementation of inspection procedures and tools for continuous improvement initiatives.
The Candidate
Able to read engineering/technical drawings
Hands-on experience with quality/inspection
Previous experience using vernier calipers, micrometers, and various inspection gauges
Technical or engineering background
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding and experience with internal audits is desirable.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £23,000- £28,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
