Our client is a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer, supplying high-quality engineered products to a broad range of sectors. With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, the business is committed to maintaining high standards across its operations. The Role

Reporting to senior management, the Quality Manager will have full responsibility for the Quality Management System and all quality and compliance activities across the business. This is a hands-on and influential role, acting as the main point of contact for all quality matters and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of the Quality Management System and ISO9001 compliance.
  • Finished product inspection, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Leading internal, customer, supplier, and ISO audits.
  • Managing NCRs, concessions, PPAPs, and structured problem-solving activities.
  • Leading quality meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing calibration and quality documentation.
  • Analysing customer feedback and driving improvement actions.
  • Reporting departmental KPIs and contributing to business strategy.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO9001.
  • Quality qualification to degree level or equivalent through experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and drive improvement.
  • Knowledge of ISO14001/45001, ability to read engineering drawings, and experience with ERP or quality tools are advantageous.

The Package

Salary up to £50,000 per annum.
