Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, office-based
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Proposals Engineer to join their growing team within an established UK-based engineering company. This role is ideally suited to a motivated individual with an engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accurate quotations in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to obtain the required technical and commercial information
- Supporting the sales team with 2D AutoCAD drawings where required
- Ensuring that all quotations are produced in line with company templates and standards
- Providing regular reports on quotation volumes and values
- Working collaboratively with the wider sales team to ensure alignment with client expectations
Qualifications & Experience
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (desirable)
- Competent in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively across departments and at all levels
- Capable of managing deadlines and prioritising workload
- Analytical and confident decision-making skills
