Job Advert: Production Planner / Buyer – £40,000 – £48,000 – Crawley, West Sussex (Office-Based) A leading manufacturing company based in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer to join our operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional from a manufacturing background to take on a vital role within a fast-paced and growing business. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage the MRP system to ensure a smooth and continuous flow of materials Raise and manage purchase orders with existing suppliers for production parts Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demands Liaise closely with production teams to ensure the correct parts are available for the production schedule Identify and resolve supply chain and scheduling issues to minimise production disruption Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including procurement, stores, and production Requirements: Proven experience in a similar Production Planner / Buyer role within a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of MRP systems Solid experience in raising and managing purchase orders Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis) A Level qualified or qualified by experience Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities Salary & Benefits: £40,000 – £48,000 per annum, depending on experience Office-based role, Monday to Friday Located in Crawley, West Sussex – easily accessible from surrounding areas
