Our client is a well-established advanced manufacturing business supplying precision-engineered components and tooling into a range of high-performance industries.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Pattern Maker to join their growing team.
The Role As a Pattern Maker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality patterns and moulds, carrying out precision bench work, and assembling complex components to exacting standards.
Working from technical drawings, you ll play a key role in delivering bespoke solutions while maintaining exceptional quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities * Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. * Carry out precision bench work to achieve a high-quality finish on epoxy and metallic components. * Wire patterns and direct moulds. * Install fixings and inserts into machined components. * Assemble complex components to tight tolerances. * Operate manual workshop machinery safely and effectively. * Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow established production processes.
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Pattern Maker or in a similar precision manufacturing role.
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Experience with bench fitting, finishing and assembly work.
Competent using manual workshop machinery.
