Our client is a well-established advanced manufacturing business supplying precision-engineered components and tooling into a range of high-performance industries.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Pattern Maker to join their growing team.

The Role As a Pattern Maker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality patterns and moulds, carrying out precision bench work, and assembling complex components to exacting standards.

Working from technical drawings, you'll play a key role in delivering bespoke solutions while maintaining exceptional quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Carry out precision bench work to achieve a high-quality finish on epoxy and metallic components.
  • Wire patterns and direct moulds.
  • Install fixings and inserts into machined components.
  • Assemble complex components to tight tolerances.
  • Operate manual workshop machinery safely and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow established production processes.

Previous experience as a Pattern Maker or in a similar precision manufacturing role.

Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Experience with bench fitting, finishing and assembly work.

Competent using manual workshop machinery.

Comfortable working to tight tolerances.

Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Flexible, reliable and able to adapt to changing priorities.
