My client is seeking a part-time Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Milton Keynes. This is a varied position combining hands-on warehouse responsibilities with logistics and shipping coordination duties. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, packing, and dispatch of goods while ensuring all shipments and documentation comply with customer, courier, and export requirements. The role will involve close communication with suppliers, courier companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack goods securely for domestic and international shipment
  • Prepare shipments in line with courier and export requirements
  • Select suitable packaging materials based on product type and value
  • Book shipments using courier platforms
  • Coordinate collections and deliveries with courier companies
  • Track shipments and proactively manage delays or delivery issues
  • Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documentation
  • Book inbound goods accurately against purchase orders
  • Maintain stock accuracy within internal systems
  • Organise and manage stock locations efficiently
  • Assist with stock checks and stock audits
  • Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and on time
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company procedures

The Candidate

  • Previous experience within logistics, warehouse, shipping, or dispatch environments
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using courier booking systems and shipment coordination platforms
  • Confident using CRM systems, Excel, and internal stock systems
  • Able to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

£22,000 pro rata £30k, 27.5 hours per week – 10:00am to 4:00pm
