The Role

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join its production team. This role involves assembling precision-engineered components, ensuring they meet the required specifications, and conducting thorough testing and quality checks before dispatch.

The position requires working with mechanical components of various sizes, following detailed technical drawings, parts lists, and assembly guides to produce different product variations. Each unit undergoes pressure and leak testing to ensure functionality.

Responsibilities

Mechanical assembly of precision-engineered components and related products.

Hand tool assembly and fitting.

Product testing including pressure and leak testing to ensure compliance.

Stock management – tracking inventory and requesting parts as needed.

Working to production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.

Liaising with design and quality teams on product modifications and compliance improvements.

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Adhering to health & safety protocols and promoting best practices.
