A leading supplier of advanced solutions used across a variety of industries is seeking an experienced Application Manager with a strong technical background in HMI. This role will provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post sales phases, involving extensive travel to customer sites.
The Role
Total customer retention – Provide existing customers with support and engineering innovations to ensure end of life contracts are re-won and they are delighted with their experience of their products and engineering. This may be management, new product development support or customer relationship management with engineering items.
High win rate of all RFQs – Fast and thorough response and support to the sales team to deliver competitive solutions for our customers across all of their product sets.
Pre-sales support – Assist customers, prospects and sales team members in understanding products and perform product demonstrations for various applications/use cases – find and notice problems and propose solutions.
Develop and Manage application engineering team – as this grows to be developing quickly, inspired and motivated to hit similar high standards.
Project management, resource forecasting and engineering administrative maintenance – be the single point of engineering contact who has full grip of all engineering related items and maintains the supporting admin such as engineering documentation.
Participate in technical meetings and prepare training programs for the sales team.
The Candidate
This role would suit a candidate with a strong technical background in HMI and either embedded systems / firmware or software integration background who I looking to pursue a more commercial role
Display technology experience
Experience of Human-Machine Interface and related hardware (essential)
Experience of development and implementation of firmware, and application software integration
Knowledge and experience of development and implementation of embedded system design
Embrace a customer-centric mindset and be comfortable in an outward-facing role
The Package
Offering circa £80,000 plus bonus, private medical other strong benefits.
