The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a results-driven Sales Consultant to join a specialist Strategic End User team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key customer relationships, driving specification opportunities and delivering sustainable sales growth across a portfolio of strategic manufacturing accounts.
Working closely with customers, engineering teams and distribution partners, you will take a consultative approach to understanding operational challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering tailored automation solutions that add measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales and growth objectives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across strategic manufacturing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and specification projects within existing and prospective accounts.
- Work collaboratively with channel partners and internal teams to maximise account development.
- Analyse customer activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Promote a broad portfolio of industrial automation solutions and engineered products.

- Proven B2B sales experience within industrial automation, engineering, manufacturing or another technical environment.
- Experience managing key or strategic customer accounts.
- Strong commercial awareness with a consultative sales approach.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for developing long-term customer partnerships.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
