The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
You will be part of a commercial team within a manufacturing environment, coordinating the interface between internal departments and a portfolio of small to medium-sized customers. You will be responsible for all commercial activities relating to your assigned customers and for developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including key customer decision-makers and influencers. This position offers a valuable entry point into an Account Management function. A dynamic, customer-facing role that is integral to commercial success. As an Associate Account Manager, you will gain hands-on experience across the full customer lifecycle, supporting internal teams and external clients while developing core account management skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Grow revenues and margins across assigned accounts, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded and responding promptly to all client requests.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customer contacts.
- Coordinate order planning with customers, from initial order placement through to final shipment. This includes handling customer purchase orders, coordinating material purchasing and kit clearance, and maintaining close communication with production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Coordinate the Requests for Quotation (RFQ) process, supporting Account Manager colleagues to secure new business.
- Work collaboratively with buyers, production, and quality teams to ensure timely ordering of parts and components to meet agreed production schedules and delivery dates.
- Identify issues or problems and work cross-functionally to implement effective solutions.
- Request and collate customer forecast data and contribute to monthly customer KPI reporting.
- Interpret and communicate customer feedback to relevant internal departments.
- Develop a strong understanding of each customer’s products and the industry sectors in which they operate.
