This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded After Market Sales professional to join a growing service team in a role with a strong sales and revenue focus. You will take ownership of a defined customer base, driving service contract sales, renewals, and account growth, while delivering a high level of customer support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and directly impacting business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts within a designated territory
- Identify and win back lost business while actively targeting competitor accounts
- Drive service contract sales, renewals, and upgrades to increase recurring revenue
- Proactively convert “break-fix” / ad-hoc customers into long-term contract clients
- Engage customers early in their lifecycle (including warranty phase) to secure future service agreements
- Build strong, consultative relationships to position yourself as a trusted advisor
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the service offering
- Work towards and contribute to revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Maintain a clear understanding of your pipeline and actively follow up on all opportunities
Customer Support & Administration
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Generate and manage service quotations, ensuring strong conversion rates
- Coordinate service activities with Field Service Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage contract renewals end-to-end, ensuring high retention rates
- Set up new installations and maintain accurate service records
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure all opportunities are captured and progressed
- Support internal reporting and contribute to team performance updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales, account management, or service sales environment (aftersales experience highly desirable)
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Proactive, target-driven mindset with a focus on results
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships and opportunities simultaneously
