The Role
A growing company is looking for an Office Sales Manager to lead and develop their internal sales team. You will oversee day-to-day sales operations, drive account growth and new business activity, and ensure alignment with the wider commercial strategy while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Serviced Account Managers and Business Development Managers
- Implement and drive the company’s sales strategy across account management and new business
- Set KPIs, monitor performance and conduct regular reviews
- Provide reporting on account performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Oversee key customer relationships, ensuring retention and growth
- Support new business activity, guiding pipeline management and conversions
- Track pipeline activity and provide accurate forecasting to senior leadership
- Ensure a high level of customer service and resolve escalations
- Work closely with internal departments including admin, operations and purchasing
- Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and systems
- Deliver ongoing training, mentoring and development for the team
- Manage pricing, margins and overall commercial performance
- Analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activity
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in sales leadership, office sales management or senior account management
- Proven ability to manage and develop a sales team
- Strong understanding of both account management and new business sales
- Experience working towards targets, KPIs and revenue goals
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing margins and pricing
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Positive, proactive and results-driven attitude
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
