Overview: This role is responsible for the high-quality, cost-effective fabrication of components to support the production and maintenance of new and used machinery. Working from technical drawings and sketches, the Fabricator/Welder will contribute to efficient and accurate manufacturing processes in alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate components using stainless and mild steel sheets and sections
  • Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and Manual Metal Arc techniques
  • Execute manual cutting operations using plasma and flame cutting methods
  • Weld to insurance and industry standards (e.g., BS5500 / BS EN 286); coded welders will undergo in-house testing for competency
  • Interpret technical drawings and translate them into efficient fabrication solutions
