Our client is a leading engineering company that provides engineering services to the Rail, Transport and Commercial Vehicle sectors. They are currently seeking an Export and Sales Administrator to process customer sales and manage shipping of customer equipment while adhering to export regulations. The Role Communicate with internal/external customers i.e. Sales managers / Service engineers and end customers daily via phone, and e-mail. Analyse incoming requests, identify anomalies and respond to customer communications with the relevant information on a timely basis. Address customer questions, issues and needs based on the initial request, ensuring that specific customer requirements and product features are clarified and understood. Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and Sales Manager Guidance, ensuring that all part numbers, quantities etc. are correctly captured. Submit quotations to customers, ensuring the relevant Sales Manager is able to follow up on these, as needed. Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system. Effectively communicate changes to dispatch/warehouse regarding customer orders. Prepare customer-requested shipping documents, labels, stamping etc. Process Sales Returns & Credits as appropriate. Support customers with updates on existing orders requests. Collate and understand risk assessment information, complete the Master Check List for orders as required. The Candidate Experience export regulations post Brexit – must have. Experience of working within an ERP system. Experience in a Mechanical engineering environment would be beneficial.
