My client are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Product Specialist to drive sales growth for its marine accessories product group. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this newly created role offers the opportunity to own the full product lifecycle and develop new revenue streams. Itβs a high-impact position suited to someone motivated to build and grow a product category from the ground up.
The role involves contributing to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, with a hands-on approach across planning, sales, and customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:- Sales and marketing ownership of the product group
- Market and competitor research
- Assisting with technical documentation
- Budget and resource planning
- Procurement of outsourced components
- Inventory management to meet demand
There is no requirement for a specific qualification; however, experience in Sales and/or Marketing and a solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering are expected. Strong communication skills, an outgoing personality, and well-organised administration abilities are essential. An interest in the marine industry is advantageous but not essential.
