An opportunity has arisen for a Service / Calibration Engineer to join a specialist electronics environment. The role will involve the service, test, repair, and calibration of electronic products in line with required specifications and quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Service, test, calibrate, and repair electronic products in accordance with internal procedures
- Fault find to component level on complex electronic systems
- Dismantle and reassemble products to required standards
- Carry out testing using appropriate equipment and technical documentation
- Diagnose and repair PCB-level faults where required
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Provide technical support internally and externally when required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with departmental KPIs and quality standards
- Identify and escalate any non-conformances in line with procedures
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety standards
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Ideally an engineering qualification but experience would be fine
- Strong background in electronics service, repair, or calibration
- Experience fault finding to component level
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment
