My client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves ensuring fabricated steelwork meets required quality standards through inspections, measurements, and checks against engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect steel fabrication work and sign off to specification
- Check incoming and outgoing materials for quality and compliance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and verify measurements
- Record inspection results and manage goods inwards and outwards documentation
- Liaise with production and workshop teams to maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Knowledge of steelwork and fabrication (essential)
- Strong numerical and technical ability
- Competence in MS Office
- High attention to detail with good communication and organisational skills
