Computer Numerical Control Machinist

A leading aerospace manufacturer based in Sheffield are seeking experienced Machinists who can operate CMM and CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• To visually and dimensionally part inspect WIP and finished parts to internal and customer specification by working to routing instructions, technique sheets and Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s)

• Dimensional part inspection of machined WIP using manual inspection methods (i.e. Vernier, Micrometer, plug gauges etc)

• To use CMM inspection methods to inspect components. Ensuring that all equipment meets calibration requirements

• To be fully skilled machine operator in all aspects of CNC milling and/or turning
