Full job description Description Are you looking for an incredible place of work and a 4 day working week? We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our clients team who manufacture incredible niche products in Portsmouth. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling machines. Responsibilities * Set and operate 3/4 axis CNC milling machines to produce components to tight tolerances and high quality standards. * Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure components are manufactured to the correct dimensions and specifications. * Conduct regular quality inspections of components during the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Troubleshoot any issues with the CNC machines and perform basic maintenance and repairs as required. * Collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to ensure components are produced on time and to the required specifications. * Assist with the continuous improvement of production processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements * At least 3 years of experience setting and operating CNC milling machines. * Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Experience with precision engineering and manufacturing techniques. * Excellent attention to detail and quality standards. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * A team player with strong communication skills. * Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required. * A police check will be required due to the work that will be done at site.
