The Role
To program and operate CNC milling machines, producing customer components accurately according to drawings and ensuring a high level of quality.
Duties:
Program and set CNC milling machines to manufacture components per customer specifications.
Ensure produced parts conform to drawings and customer requirements.
Confidently determine the best methods and tooling to produce parts efficiently.
Work according to planned schedules to meet company and customer requirements.
The Candidate
Must have experience programming and operating Hurco machines.
Hold an engineering qualification or relevant on-the-job experience.
Ability to program and operate Haas vertical machining centres.
Experience with setting and operating multi-axis machining centres would be desirable.
Experience with manual machine tools including mills, lathes, and surface grinders would be desirable.
Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
