You will collaborate closely with account management, production, and operations teams to ensure materials are procured and available in line with customer demand and production schedules. This role is well suited to someone looking to grow their purchasing career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders for components and materials in accordance with business needs
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and delivery information
- Proactively track and expedite open orders, following up on overdue deliveries to support uninterrupted production
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or component-based industries
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain support
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Full time is currently 37 hours per week, Mon to Thurs 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri 08:00 to 13:30. Up to Β£32,000.
