The Company

Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day procurement activities across a wide supplier base
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Source new suppliers and obtain quotations in line with business requirements
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery or quality issues
- Work closely with engineering, production, and planning teams to support operational requirements
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems
- Assist with stock control and inventory management where required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and procurement processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function
The Candidate
- Previous experience within a purchasing/procurement role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and procurement best practices
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel
- Proactive, organised, and a strong team player
- Attention to detail with a commercial mindset
Salary £30,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
