An established and growing engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join its production and engineering team. This role involves testing, fault-finding, and supporting the development of advanced electronic systems for high-performance industrial applications.
You will be responsible for carrying out functional testing, diagnosing faults to component level, and supporting continuous improvement within the production process. The position requires a strong understanding of electronic principles and the ability to work from technical documentation and schematics.
Key Responsibilities- Testing and fault-finding of electronic assemblies to component level
- Interpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawings
- Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and automated test equipment
- Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Assisting with process improvements and documentation updates
- Ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with internal procedures
- Proven experience in an electronics test or technician role
- Strong fault-finding capability down to component level
