About the Role
As a Night Nurse, you will take responsibility for leading your shift with confidence, ensuring high standards of clinical care while creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues. You will deliver person‑centred nursing care, supporting residents with a range of needs including dementia and end‑of‑life care, while ensuring all clinical and regulatory standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your night shift with professionalism, positivity, and care
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to elderly residents
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans
- Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical records
- Monitor residents’ health, wellbeing, and respond to clinical needs
- Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
- Work collaboratively with care teams to ensure seamless support
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
- Support a calm and reassuring night‑time environment
About You
- A Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Warm, compassionate, and naturally caring in approach
- Confident in leading a shift and supporting others
- Experienced in elderly care, including dementia and end‑of‑life care
- Skilled in person‑centred care planning and documentation
- A strong communicator with a positive, supportive attitude
- Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- Computer literate (experience with electronic care systems such as PCS desirable)
