Join a cult burger brand with serious London swagger. MCG Recruitment are delighted to be working with a bold, quality-led food brand that started life on London’s food trucks and has grown across the city’s most characterful neighbourhoods. This is street food done properly. Smashed burgers with serious flavour. No fuss. No frills. Funky, groovy, and confidently casual, this is a brand with street-food soul and city swagger. The Role
- Menu Development: Design and deliver a seasonal, creative menu that reflects the brand — balancing innovation with crowd-pleasing classics.
- Gross Profit Management: Ensure all dishes are accurately costed and consistently meet GP targets through effective stock control, portioning, and supplier management.
- Kitchen Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a small team of chefs, maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Stock & Ordering: Oversee ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction, using your understanding of margins to drive profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations — keeping the kitchen audit-ready at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and front-of-house team to ensure smooth, efficient, high-energy service.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume high quality QSR or similar environment.

- Creative flair with a passion for consistently excellent food.
- Confident, hands-on leader with great communication skills.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-driven.
- Relevant food hygiene and safety qualifications.
Why Join?
- Be part of a quality-led, cult-style brand with real personality.
- Take genuine ownership of the kitchen.
- Work in a fast-paced, no-nonsense environment where standards matter.
- A business that values flavour, people, and doing things properly.
