This is a brand-new Cardiff City Centre opening for a seriously exciting, fast-growing restaurant brand.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef who can take ownership, lead from the front and work alongside the Head Chef to build a brilliant kitchen operation from day one.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to stand on the sidelines.
You'll be in the thick of service, leading the brigade, driving standards and keeping the kitchen flying when the pressure is on.
THIS IS YOUR KITCHEN
You'll be a key part of the leadership team.
Deputise for the Head Chef - take full control when they're away
Lead the brigade - motivate, coach and develop your team
Own the service - keep the kitchen organised, calm and moving
Drive food quality - consistency, presentation and execution
Set the standards - food, hygiene, organisation and performance
Own stock & costs - control waste, usage and ordering
Support training & development - build a strong team from the ground up
Solve problems quickly - stay calm and make things happen
Help shape the kitchen culture from opening day

WE WANT A PROPER KITCHEN LEADER
You'll have proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef , or be a strong Sous Chef ready to step into a senior leadership position.
You'll bring:
Leadership. Energy. Organisation. Consistency. Commercial awareness.
You know how to run a busy service, support a Head Chef and get the best out of a kitchen team.
You're hands-on, calm under pressure and passionate about delivering great food every time.
