MCG Recruitment are pleased to be assisting our clients find a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support their Head Chef in delivering exceptional food.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including operations, quality, and administrative tasks
- Oversee food provision to F&B outlets and ensure compliance with legislation
- Contribute to menu creation, incorporating guest feedback
- Ensure consistent production of high-quality dishes
- Handle customer relations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Organize working rotations to meet business needs efficiently
- Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade, ensuring a well-organized and effective team
- Control costs while maintaining standards, improving gross profit margins and meeting departmental targets
- Assist other departments as required and foster good working relationships
- Promote environmentally conscious practices in the kitchen
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
- Passion for producing high-quality food
- Excellent planning, organizing, and multitasking skills
- Strong supervisory and team management abilities
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and adaptability to work solo or in teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Eligibility
