We're seeking an experienced, passionate Sous Chef to lead our kitchen in an exciting new restaurant that's quickly becoming a destination venue. We are looking for a strong Sous Chef to work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the running of the kitchen and our team, ensuring our high standards are consistently met and the menu evolves and develops throughout the year in line with the seasons and produce from our walled garden.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen alongside the Head Chef
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and implementation of new dishes, bringing fresh ideas and methods to the table
- Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure the company ethos is instilled within the team and continually drive excellence
- Assume responsibilities of the Head Chef in their absence
